1. For inspection purposes, a batch consists of fire hoses of the same type and internal diameter, with a total length of 1,000 meters. A 100-meter section shall be randomly selected from the batch for visual inspection. Three test specimens shall be cut using the most economical method; the specimen lengths shall comply with the requirements of Clause 3.1.1.
2. The internal diameter of each specimen shall comply with the requirements of this standard. The arithmetic mean values ​​for weight per unit length and water seepage rate of the three specimens shall comply with the requirements of this standard. Each specimen shall undergo a burst test under a single specified condition, and the results shall comply with the requirements of this standard.
3. If any item fails to meet the requirements of this standard during inspection, a re-test for that specific item is permitted. For the re-test, double the number of specimens shall be selected using the most economical method. The results of the re-test specimens must all comply with the requirements of this standard; otherwise, the product shall be deemed non-conforming.
4. In the event of a dispute regarding product quality between the supplier and the purchaser, all costs associated with arbitration testing shall be borne by the party found to be at fault.
